What to Do on a 24 Hour Layover in Singapore (Video)

December 3, 2015 By Sean Ogle 5 Comments

Recently I had a 24 hour layover in Singapore.

Fortunately, Singapore is the perfect place to have a long layover. As it’s easy to get to and from the airport, there’s a lot packed into a small area, and you get to go have an original Singapore Sling!

Perfect.

While expensive, you can get by on the cheap by walking everywhere and being selective with your splurges (a Singapore Sling at the Raffles is $26…ouch).

In the past I’ve had a really good time putting together video blogs, and this is the start of a little experiment. For the next few weeks I’m going to post a video a week every Thursday and see what kind of reaction they get.

Like them? Do me a favor and subscribe right here.

Also, what would you like to see? Travel? Adventure? Business? Day to day life? Let me know, any and all feedback positive/negative is very welcome 🙂

And need something else to do on a layover in Singapore? Why don’t you visit some of the best bars in the world?

Loving the videos Sean! Tate is adorable and it’s fun to see the two of you together, so definitely include her more if she’s up for it. I’d be most excited to see adventure and travel videos, but still with a bit of the business and day to day thrown in. After all, you gotta master the business to get the sweet adventure life right? I’m sure you’re already aware, but some of the audio was really hard to hear in this video. Still, looking forward to seeing more from you!

I’ll make sure she sees this comment 🙂

Yeah there were a few issues with the sound. The first is it was a new camera and I wasnt used to the mic being on top of it versus the front, so I occasionally had it covered. The other is also the sacrifice I make for being able to do the more “on the go” style videos. But will work to improve as I start doing them more!

Fun video Sean! How much was the Singapore sling drink at Raffles?

Was the chili crab $120 or 120SD?

Heeeey! Long time no see 🙂

Worked out to a little over $120 US for the meal. So the crab was only like $100 US haha
