How to Find a Mentor (And Why It’s So Important You Do)

Here at Location Rebel we’ve spent nearly the last decade helping people build “bridge businesses”.

Meaning, we help you build the type of business that is going to get you out of your job, making some money on your own, and giving you the freedom and flexibility to pursue the things you really want to do in life.

But despite the concept of “solopreneurship”, or the idea that we have to do everything on our own, the fastest way to success is to find other people that are either on the same journey as you, or who have already seen success creating the lifestyle you’re striving for.

I’ve talked a lot about finding a supportive community. Having people that “get it” and provide accountability through the ups and downs is incredibly beneficial.

But equally as important, I believe, is finding a mentor to help guide the way.

In my journey of entrepreneurship there are two people in particular that I’ve considered my mentors over the years. We’re it not for either of these two people, I wouldn’t be doing this right now – and Location Rebel wouldn’t exist.
